jb-ahfuaJ.B. Ahfua - When this guy opened his mouth at first I thought, well another one that sucks.  However after the first line he was actually pretty good.  Paula, Randy and Simon all put him through to the next round.  I don’t see a top twelve player here but I do think he will do OK overall.  Sometimes you have to let a guy get through a line or two a guess to see what he can really do.

Michael Gurr -  This troll sung “Starts with Goodbye” and he really should have also started with goodbye himself.  No one could even understand his words.  They actually let him sing a second song, I am not sure what it was because I could not understand that either.  Simon came out with the first of many one line zingers on this one “it might as well have been in Bulgarian”.  Honestly that may have been an improvement.

More about J.B. Ahfua (there is no reason for us to point out anything additional AT ALL about Michael Gurr)

American Idol: Phoenix Auditions (recap) (Fancast: Inside TV) -We get a quick glance of a talented guy named JB Ahfua. He’s got a nice, smooth voice with an unusual tone. He makes it to Hollywood. Michael Gerr treats us to our first horrifically bad audition of the year. He attempts to sing Carrie

?American Idol? Returns With New Judge DioGuardi, Zen Mantra … - Nice guy J.B. Ahfua and do-gooder Arianna Afsar, who both scored trips to Hollywood but didn’t have the wow factor. • Michael Sarver, the oil-rig roughneck who can croon. Ones to Wipe From Your Memory With Bleach:
