Scott Macintyer - OK I will say it and I am sure everyone is going to bash me. This guy is good but the fact that his is blind was why he made it though.
Now don’t get me wrong, he can sing, very well but last night it did not seem like a superstar voice. He may or may not make it till the end but I don’t think we would even know his name if he had that same voice but could sing. Being fair to his voice it was deep and I would even call it soaring at times with some really nice soft tones. Perhaps he will prove better as the autitions move on but for now I was just not that impressed vocally.
Of course I have been wrong before!
As it turns out Scott has a pretty active career already. That is good news on one hand but history has show that most finalists by this point have to take down a lot of their self promotional stuff on MySpace, Facebook, etc. His is all still up. Let’s pay attention to this one and see if that “tell tail sign” is real or just a myth.
