Emily Hughes - Well another pink haired perspective Idol, we will see how this works out. She is a “singer in a all girl rock band” and sang Barracuda by Heart which is one of my favorite old rock songs. She was in my view outstanding and I am calling this girl as a top twelve right now.
So we are off to an entertaining start, I have a lot of confidence in my call on Emily Hughes! The challenge as always for a competitor like her will be adapting to the various genres that Idol contestants are forced into. I think America will really like her and I am looking forward to what she comes up with next.
I also have to say the picture we found of her at the left isn’t that flattering but I am betting with the right styling, clothing, etc. she is actually pretty hot as well. I am not big on the tatoos but the punk rock girl image take me back 25 years to my high school days!
Taun Nguyen - How does this afro wearing Asian dude make you feel? Singing and impersonating Michael Jackson he was actually entertaining (as Randy Jackson said) but it sure does not warrant a trip to Hollywood. He really seemed like one of the ringers they bring in just to be bad. This is a name you probably won’t ever hear again.
OK so two auditions and now we have 5 minutes of advertising, more to come.
